Loft Clearance Abbey Road Greenwich
Project Overview
This loft clearance project was completed on Abbey Road, Greenwich after the homeowner contacted us with an urgent request. The property had recently been sold, and after the new owners had already moved in, it was discovered that the loft had not been cleared. The customer called us at 6am seeking immediate assistance, and we attended the property the very same day to assess and begin the clearance.
Initially, the client believed there were only a few remaining items stored in the loft. However, once access was gained, it became clear that the volume of contents had been significantly underestimated. The loft contained more than 1,500 books, along with bed frames, mattresses, cabinets, and a large quantity of miscellaneous household items accumulated over many years.
Due to the unexpected volume of contents, what was expected to be a straightforward clearance became a much larger project. Our team carefully sorted, removed, and transported all items while working efficiently to minimise disruption for the new occupants of the property.
The clearance ultimately required two full days to complete. Once finished, the loft was completely emptied, allowing the new homeowners to make full use of the space and ensuring the property handover was finally completed as intended.
