Loft Water Tank Removal
Project Overview
This project involved the removal of a large water tank from a loft space in Crystal Palace. Due to the size of the tank and limited access through the loft hatch, it was not possible to remove it in one piece.
To ensure safe removal, the tank had to be carefully cut into smaller sections using non-sparking electric tools. This method allowed us to dismantle the tank safely while working in a confined loft environment.
The property had recently been fully redecorated, and the client was particularly concerned about protecting the freshly painted walls and ceilings during the removal process. Because of this, we took extra precautions while transporting the dismantled tank sections through the house.
Protective measures were used throughout the job, and every step was carried out with great care to avoid any damage to the property.
The entire project took approximately 5 hours to complete, including dismantling the tank, safely removing all materials from the loft, and ensuring the workspace was left clean and tidy.
